The projectiondesign Action! model three is the world's most poweful single chip DLPT home theatre projector.
With unmatched contrast by any other projector or projector technology, and full control over available absolute
brightness, it can be adjusted to fit almost any screen size - small to large - and application, with absolute
brightness on screen matching that of the required and recommended from SMPTE. HDTV resolution and film-like
dynamics complete the experience in a serious home theatre.
High Definition DLPT technology
1280 x 1080 HDTV pixel resolution is ideal for High Definition TV and standard video, and provides images
with outstanding detail and clarity. The HD2+ DC3T DMDT is the latest generation DLPT technology from Texas
Instgruments, optimised for video display in home theatres and smaller cinemas.
High end video processing
The model three features the highly regarded Faroudja© FLI2310 deinterlacing chipset for high end, high
performance video processing. Compatible with both standard definition, and high definition analogue input
sources, patented technologies such as 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown with bad edit detection, DCDiT (Directional
Correlational DeinterlacingT), cross colour suppression and TrueLifeT non-linear enhancement combine to
create superb results, converting standard interlaced video to high resolution progressive scan images -
free from artefacts, and with sharp, detailed pictures with deeply saturated colours.
Wide range of high resolution glass lenses
Six replaceable bayonet mount lenses cover every need. From the Ultra Wide Angle at 0.88 : 1, designed
for rear projection, to the Super Tele Zoom at 4.4 - 7.7 : 1 ratio. All lenses, with the exception of the
Ultra Wide Angle - designed for on-axis projection - feature full lens shift in all directions, allowing
complete flexibilty in installation, without altering or distorting the image. All lenses are glass-only,
manufactured to the highest possible standards.
6 and 7 segment colour wheel options
Unlike any other manufacturer, we offer the model three home theatre projector with different colour wheel
options. Both a 6-segment 5x, and 7-segment 5x version is available. While the 6-segment colour wheel provides
a little more punch and brightness, as well as superbly smooth image panning, the 7-segment wheel greatly
stabilises and improves defintion in low level information, improving visibility of low level minute detail.
Super long lamp life - up to 8000 hours
As the model three utilises two lamps, The standard lamps delivered can be set to operate in automatic
relay eco mode for a super long life of up to 8000 hours. Run continuously, this setup runs nearly a
year before lamps need replacement. The result is a very low cost of ownership, perfect for control
rooms and other critical installations.
Dual, single and automatic lamp relay modes
The model three can be configured to run in full-power dual, long-life single, and automatic lamp relay
modes. In automatic relay mode, lamps will alternate in operation to keep both lamps at the same performance
level at all times.
Adjustable output brightness
In order to match the model three to any desired on-screen brightness, the user can adjust power output
for each lamp individually, in addition to adjusting illumination and lens aperture iris'es and apertures.
This gives an infinitely adjustable brightness output from about 500 lumens, to as high as 2500 ANSI lumens.
Complete control and command
The model three features an extemely comprehensive RS232 control interface, as well as a dedicated TCP/IP
interface, and can be used with any type of dedicated system controller, for instance AMX or Crestron.
For simpler set-ups, the backlit IR remote control features an addtional wired connection and individual
ID settings, so it can be used in any environment.
Extremely high quality optics
The model three features a wide range of extremely high quality all-glass lenses, using aspeherical lens
elements and low dispersion glass for the best possible focus and colour correctness. All lenses feature
very high precision CNC-machined mechanical interfaces.
Installation flexibility
With full lens shift both vertically and horizontally (110% and 90% respectively), full illumination
control - no other projector is even close in installation flexibility and adjustability.
Upgradable input connectivity
With HDCP-compatible DVI, high-bandwidth component and RGBHV on separate BNC binding posts, the model
three is dedicated to high resolution signal processing in all possible ways. Through our proprietary
XPortT technology, the owner is also ensured perfect future upgradability, as we can add on any type
of interface any type needed.
