The next generation of iPod docks are here. The Denon ASD3W takes the ipod dock to the next level. With an ethernet connection and wireless networking built into the dock, you will now be able to use your Apple iPod with the Denon ASD 3W as you normally would but connect it directly into your router via the ethernet cable or via the built in wireless antenna and get access to internet radio or use the amplifer connected as a network client via the Denon ASD-3W.

With the Denon ASD-3W iPod dock being used as a network client you are now able to stream you music from your iTunes library direct to your amplifier via your Denon ASD3W, even without the Apple iPod connected and all wirelessly.

The ASD-3N network client device now allows any home A/V system to be connected to a home network using an Ethernet connection. MP3 files and non-protected AAC Audio files from a compatible network source can then be streamed through the ASD-3N for listening over your home A/V system.

In addition, the ASD-3N is an iPod dock allowing audio playback or video picture playback from compatible iPod models.

The ASD-3N is DNLA certified, and is PlaysForSure compliant for ease of setup and use. The standard D-dock port is also supplied for integration with current or past compatible Denon receivers that do not incorporate GUI menus allowing for command and control. The iPod will also stay charged while docked in the ASD-3N keeping it ready to go.

An IR remote is also supplied with the ASD-3N for use with Denon and non-Denon systems.

Note: Some features or functions are dependent on the receiver the D-dock is connected to. Not all functions may be available with all combinations of receivers.
